About George

George Stubbs began playing ultimate as a 4th grader at The Paideia School in Atlanta, GA. He made Paideia’s dominant varsity team as a freshman and became team captain in his sophomore year. In 2006 and 2008, he represented the United States as a member of the Junior National Team winning Junior World Championships both years.

Stubbs played four years of college ultimate with Harvard's Redline (2008-2011). He attended the USA Ultimate College Championships three time with Redline. He captained the team starting his sophomore and was named 1st Team All-Region in 2009, 2010 and 2011. He won the Callahan Award this year and placed 5th as a junior in 2010.

Stubbs has played competitive club ultimate since he was 16 years old, starting with Atlanta’s Chain Lightning (2005-2007) before joining Boston’s Ironside (2008-present). He’s made six trips to USA Ultimate Club Championships and has finished worse than 5th only once.

Stubbs graduated this spring with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Behavior.

-Stubbs won a Georgia State Championship as a sophomore on Paideia's varsity soccer team.
